Mandolin Workshop
Sims Delaney-Pothoff and Don Stiernberg will conduct a mandolin workshop on the day of their concert, in the Thrasher gallery at 510 Mill St. This two-hour session (1:30-3:30 p.m.) will be open to mandolinists of all levels of expertise and stylistic interest. The workshop will include discussion of chords and rhythm playing, and the creation of improvised solos, with some time allowed for fielding questions on all things mandolin. Students should bring their mandolin and pick. Portable recording devices for capturing hot licks, tunes, and ideas are welcome.

Fee for the workshop is $20 per person, or free to concert ticket-holders. Ticket-holders, please reserve in advance by phone, email, or in the memo section when you order your concert ticket. If you're ordering the workshop ONLY, there's no need to make an additional reservation; your web order for the workshop will suffice. Thanks!
